Our program is unique in that it offers several paths to the completion of a degree. The Master of Arts in Educational Technology (MAET) Program is only available under Plan B (without thesis). The student must complete a total of 30 credits.
Many students choose to start the Master’s program as a Lifelong Education/Graduate Certificate student with the three courses (9 graduate credits) of the Educational Technology Certificate Program:
Following completion of the Certificate Courses, students must apply to the Master of Arts in Educational Technology Program. Once accepted, the Certificate Courses seamlessly transfer into the student’s program plan. After being admitted to the program, students meet with his/her advisor to devise a program plan outlining a schedule of courses. Students typically complete the degree within a 2 year time period.
